What is an e-gift card?

An e-gift card is electronic as opposed to a traditional plastic gift card, and can be purchased from here and can be redeemed online.

What are the advantages of sending an e-gift card over sending a conventional plastic card?

There are numerous advantages to using e-gift cards including the instant gratification and convenience of purchasing and using the gift card. An e-gift card allows you to add a message and a photo or video to your gift card. E-gift cards are perfect for that last minute gift and can be scheduled for delivery on a specific day and time. E-gift cards are virtual so there are no delivery or handling charges. Lastly, e-gift cards are an environmentally friendly gift choice.

Do e-gift cards expire or have any fees?

No, our e-gift cards do not expire or carry any fees.

Is there a minimum amount and/or maximum amount I can put on an e-gift card?

Yes, our e-gift cards have a minimum value of $5 and a maximum value of $1,000 per card.

Is there maximum amount for an e-gift card transaction?

E-gift cards are limited to $2,000 per customer/day.

Are there any fees associated with purchasing an e-gift card?

No, you only pay for the face value of the e-gift card.

Can I change the value of my e-gift card purchase or cancel the transaction?

We’re sorry but all gift card transactions are final. If you want to increase the gift card value, then a new transaction will be required.

Can I send e-gift cards to myself so I can hand deliver to friends or family?

Yes, you can send yourself e-gift cards. When purchasing e-gift cards, simply enter your information on the "Recipient Information" page. Once you receive the e-gift card via email, you can forward it to others or print it then share it.

How will the recipient know that I sent them an e-gift card?

The recipient of the e-gift card will receive an email indicating that an e-gift card has been sent to them. These notifications include any personal messages and images you added during the gift card purchase process.

How will I know that the recipient opened their e-gift card?

You will receive an email notification when the recipient opens the email containing their e-gift card. You can also track the status of the gift card here by entering your confirmation number and email address.

How long does it take for an e-gift card to reach the recipient?

All gift cards purchased are subject to credit card and security processing. This typically occurs within 20 minutes however, it could take up to 24 hours. If cards are not received within 24 hours, please contact us.

I recently purchased and sent an e-gift card but it has not arrived. What should I do?

Occasionally e-gift cards are intercepted by spam filters; please check with the recipient to see if their gift card is in their spam or junk folders. It is also possible that the email address was incorrectly entered at the time of purchase; please check the email address you entered for the recipient.

You can also resend the gift card by entering the email address and confirmation number associated with the gift card, then selecting the "Track" button. Once the gift card appears, select the "Send" button. Enter the appropriate email address and select "Submit." The gift card has now been resent.

Can I schedule an e-gift card to be delivered at a future date and time?

E-gift cards can be delivered immediately (subject to credit card and security processing time) or, they can be scheduled for a future delivery date and time.

Can I buy an e-gift card in another currency?

E-gift cards are only available in US dollars and can only be redeemed in the US on usa.tommy.com and in Tommy Hilfiger Company Stores. Canadian customers can buy an e-gift card but are required to have a US billing address.

How do I use my e-gift card?

To use your gift card for an online purchase, simply enter the gift card number and PIN during the checkout process. Please note: you may use up to two gift cards per order.

How can I check the balance of my e-gift card?

You can check you e-gift card balance here. When prompted, enter the gift card number and PIN.

The recipient never received my e-gift card. How can I resend it?

To resend your e-gift card, enter your email address and confirmation number on this page, then select the "Track" button. Once your gift card appears, select the "Send" button. Enter the appropriate email address and select "Submit." Your gift card has now been resent.
